Worship Services
We invite you to join us in worship to praise and glorify God and draw nearer to Him. All are welcome, regardless of the denomination in which you were raised, or where you are on your faith journey. Our service bulletin guides you through the service and our members are happy to assist visitors.
If you’re new to St. Francis, let us know! We’d like to recognize and welcome you with a candle and a little Jesus figurine as a reminder that all of us are the light of Christ.
St. Francis of Assisi offers two Sunday services fall through spring, and one combined service in the summer. We also hold special services for Holy church days and observations. Nursery services are provided for small children.
Sunday Spring/Summer Service began May 16, 2026
9:30 a.m. - Rite II Liturgy with music and choir
Sunday Fall/Winter Services begin Oct. 11, 2026
8 a.m. - Rite I without music
10:30 a.m. Rite II Liturgy with choir and music
Wednesday Healing Service (All Year)
9 a.m. Holy Eucharist and Healing Mass
Guided Bible Study is offered after the service
We also occasionally offer Contemporary Services on Saturdays at 5 p.m.

Communion
All baptized Christians are invited to the altar to receive the communion bread and wine. If you do not wish to receive communion, simply fold your arms across your chest to receive a prayer. St. Francis Lay Eucharistic Visitors will bring Holy Communion for those unable to attend our services in person.

St. Francis offers a supervised nursery during our main Sunday service for young children (infants through grade school). Children are united with their families just prior to communion during the service. We also offer kids a summer vacation Bible camp, Easter egg hunts and the opportunity to have fun and learn sewing skills through our Sew Blessed Ministry.

Dress up or just come as you are or how you feel most comfortable. While we have great reverence for our awesome God, He loves you just as you are and so do we. Our church is a no-judgement zone.

Yes, plenty of parking is available in our main front lot as well as in the rear lot. Please refrain from parking on the grass.

When you arrive, please tell our friendly ushers/greeters if you are new to St. Francis and sign our visitor book. They will give you the service bulletin to help you follow along with the service and can help you find a seat in the sanctuary. During the service, the officiant will prompt the parish of when to sit, stand, kneel or respond, and ushers will direct parishioners of when to go up for communion. New or visiting guests will be greeted warmly during our announcements and will be given a small candle to represent us as the light of Christ along with a little Jesus figurine.

All baptized Christians are invited to come up to the altar to receive the communion sacraments of bread and wine. The usher will dismiss each pew to go up to the altar. Simply stand or kneel at the altar with your palms up. You will be given a wafer, the “bread of life,” followed by the chalice of wine, the “cup of salvation.” You may consume the wafer and then sip the wine, or you may dip the wafer into the wine and consume it. If you leave the wafer in your palm, the priest may take it and dip it into the wine and place on your tongue. Non-baptized people and children may come to the altar to receive a blessing prayer instead of communion. Simply fold your arms across your chest for a blessing. If you’d like to be baptized or confirmed in our church, please contact Rev. Robin at the church office.

Yes, all of St. Francis’ facilities are ADA-accessible for persons in wheelchairs or with mobility devices.
